TCG Stain Resistant Top Coat Instructions

What It Does

TCG Stain Resistant Top Coat is a high-performance, non-yellowing gel top coat formulated to help protect nails from staining, discolouration, and surface dullness.
It provides a crystal-clear, long-lasting shine and a durable, scratch-resistant finish — ideal for light or pastel shades, French manicures, and clients exposed to pigments, hair colour, or daily staining products.

Application 

1. Apply an even layer of TCG Stain Resistant Top Coat.
• Use over any TCG product.                                                                                    
• Use a light touch to float the top coat over the surface — avoid overworking.
• Ensure full coverage from cuticle to free edge and cap the free edge to prevent lifting.
• Avoid skin contact.
2. Cure.
• Cure under LED for 60 seconds (or 2 minutes under UV).
• Do not apply too thick — even layers ensure the best clarity and wear
3. No Wipe Formula.
• This top coat cures to a glossy, tack-free finish.
• No cleansing required after curing.
• This product does not work for chrome. Please use our TCG Chrome Basecoat for flawless chrome finish.

Finishing

1. 1. Cool and protect.

      • Allow nails to cool for 30 seconds after curing before applying oil to prevent dulling.

      • Apply TCG Cuticle Oil to hydrate and finish.

   2. Optional Matte Layer.

      • For clients preferring a matte finish, apply TCG Velvet Matte Top Coat instead and cure for 60 seconds.

Removal

1. File off the top coat.

   • Gently file through the top surface to break the seal before soaking or filing off underlying product.

   • Avoid soaking directly without filing — the stain-resistant finish is non-porous.

2. Proceed with normal removal method for gel polish, rubber base, BIAB, or builder.

Pro Tips

• Apply in a thin, even coat to maintain clarity and prevent heat spikes.

• Always cap the free edge to prevent premature wear.

• Works perfectly over TCG Gel Polish, Rubber Base, BIAB, and Hard Gel systems.

• Ideal for clients frequently exposed to pigments, dyes, or staining products (e.g., hairdressers, makeup artists).

• Store away from direct sunlight and heat to maintain product integrity.
