What It Does

TCG BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is a professional-strength builder gel designed for natural nail overlays, structured manicures, and short extensions. It combines flexibility with superior strength and adhesion, delivering a flawless self-levelling finish that protects and reinforces natural nails. 

TCG BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) Instructions

Preparation

1. 1. Sanitise with TCG Sanitiser hands and tools.
      Ensure your workspace and hands are clean before beginning.
   2. Shape and refine the natural nail.
      Gently file nails to the desired shape. Use a fine buffer to remove surface shine.
   3. Cleanse the nail plate.
      Remove dust and oils with a TCG lint-free wipe soaked in TCG Dehydrator & Cleanser.
   4. Apply TCG Dehydrator & PH Bonder.
   • Apply a thin layer to the natural nail.
   • Allow to air dry completely.
   • This step balances the nail’s pH and removes residual moisture for optimal adhesion.
   5. Apply TCG Acid-Free Primer.
   • Apply sparingly to the natural nail only (avoid skin contact).
   • Allow to air dry for a 30-60 seconds.
   • This enhances bond strength and prevents lifting.
   Application 
   1. Apply Base Gel (optional for added adhesion).
   • Use TCG Base Coat in a thin layer and cure for 30 seconds under TCG LED/UV Lamp.
   • Do not wipe off the tacky layer.

1. Build the structure.
   • Pick up a small bead of TCG Builder Gel In A Bottle and place it near the apex area.
   • Gently float the gel towards the cuticle and along the sides without touching the skin.
   • Allow the product to self-level before curing.
2. Cure. 
   • Freeze cure for 10 seconds between fingers if necessary to prevent flooding into the walls.
   • Final cure each layer for 60–90 seconds under LED (or 2 minutes under UV).
   • Build in layers for colour gel and clear can be thicker.  
3. Repeat if necessary.
   • For added strength or longer extensions, apply a second builder layer and cure again.
4. Refine the surface.
   • Wipe off the sticky inhibition layer with TCG Cleanser & Slip Solution
   • File and shape to perfect the apex and sidewalls, then wipe off dust with TCG Dehydrator & Cleanser

Finishing

1. Apply colour or top coat.
• You can apply TCG Gel Polish Colour directly over the shaped TCG Hard Gel and cure for 60 seconds.
• Finish with TCG Stain Resistant Top Coat for a high-gloss shine or TCG Velvet Matte Top Coat for a soft finish.
• Cure under LED for 60 seconds.
2.  Nourish.
• Finish with TCG Cuticle Protector Oil or TCG Pineapple Cuticle Oil

Removal

1. File down the bulk of the Builder Gel In A Bottle with e-file or 100 grit file. Then use a finer grit to remove to the nail plate
2. Do not soak — Builder Gel In A Bottle Gel must be filed off carefully to avoid damaging the natural nail.
3. Smooth the surface with a fine buffer and apply TCG Cuticle Protector Oil or TCG Pineapple Cuticle Oil.

Pro Tips

• Always cap the free edge to prevent lifting.
• Keep layers thin for overlays and thicker for added structure.
• If heat spikes occur during curing, remove the hand briefly, then continue.
• Allow the gel to self-level for a smooth surface with minimal filing.
• Ideal for natural nail strengthening, structured manicures, or soft extensions.
